Funny Movie Reviews
MOVIE REVIEW – THE BIG WEDDING
It’s like having an orange popcicle, the mild orange taste is pleasing enough, but no one ever spends much time thinking about it afterwards, its banished from our thoughts because while the taste is good, it’s also unremarkable.
MOVIE REVIEW – OBLIVION
Honestly, I’m trying to remember what happened during the mid part of this movie other then a few hazy isolated moments of plot development
MOVIE REVIEW – OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN
The dialogue was it’s only strong area, but liking the film because of that would be akin to thinking a park bench a good snack because someone spilled your favorite espresso on it.
MOVIE REVIEW – EVIL DEAD
The demon-speeding-through-the-woods shots that we’ve come to love in the original are still in tact and still effective.

THE MOVIE GUYS REWRITE: BLADE RUNNER
Ridley Scott’s neo-noir, cyberpunk vision of Los Angeles in 2019 is one of those touchstone filmic environments that is so imaginative and so fully realized onscreen that it immediately transports you into its reality. Would it were that something more memorable happened there.
MOVIE REVIEW – RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK
Is this the best movie ever made? Well, the great thing about movies is that arguing what the best one of all time is can keep you arguing until you pass out. But this is certainly my favorite, hands down.
MOVIE REVIEW – THE ODD LIFE OF TIMOTHY GREEN
“The Odd Life of Timothy Green” is about a sterile couple, so…start getting excited.
MOVIE REVIEW – LAWLESS
This film plays out like a quality western without the old west.
THE DARK KNIGHT RAISES (QUESTIONS IT CAN’T ANSWER)
Perhaps in years to come, once we’ve gotten a little more distance on it, the entire Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy will be thought of in the public mind less as an entire piece, and more along the lines of “The one with Heath Ledger in it as Joker, and the other two.”

MOVIE REVIEW – SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN
It’s an interesting concept to see the original world the Brothers’ Grimm imagined up on the screen, but it’s coupled with dialogue that’s not very special and devoid of any real charisma.

MOVIE REVIEW – BATTLESHIP
I’m going to attempt something never done before, and something that should not be done without supervision. I’m going to reference Shakespeare when speaking of “Battleship”, but this movie was a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
