Christopher Nolan’s space epic “Interstellar” is at the heart of a new pricing deal from AMC Theaters. They’re now offering Unlimited Tickets to “Interstellar” where you can pay one price and see the film as many times as you want, across the various screening platforms available, including IMAX, ETX and whatever-the-hell. Sounds more like a dare than an enticement, but I thought that was always the deal. Buy one ticket and watch as many movies as you want…. Until… they ask you to leave.

Peanuts movie poster
The beloved “Peanuts” gang is back, this time on the big screen as Blue Sky Animation makes good on its previous teaser and delivers a full trailer for a Snoopy and the Gang movie due next Christmas. Looks updated, I got twenty bucks on a rapping Snoopy. Spoiler alert – it takes place in a dystopian future where the kids have fight for their survival. And, of course, with Peanuts back on the big screen, finally a whole new generation of children can ask “Why is this called ‘Peanuts’?”

Joe Dirt 2
David Spade has donned the mullet once again to play Joe Dirt in the aptly named “Joe Dirt 2”. It’s hard to believe it’s been thirteen years since the original “Joe Dirt”, but in a picture posted on Instagram, Spade looked relatively the same in the wig and flannel to play the character. If ever there was a sequel for which you don’t need to have seen the first one, this is it. And we were this close to not losing all hope for humanity this week.

Who are these people with such time on their hands? I’m jealous, but the fruits of their labor is usually pretty entertaining. As is the case with the really-you-should-have-no-questions-after-reading-the-title “Designer Remakes NFL Logos to Incorporate Popular Disney Characters”

We’re thrilled to have Mick Foley as our two-time guest on The Movie Showcast. The first time we interviewed Mick, he was acting as a Rod Serling-type for a film anthology called “Hellevator Man” from Blanc-Biehn Productions. There’s a trailer for the first film:
